HOURS OF OPERATION: DAYLIGHT TO DUSK
LARGE PAVILION-$50.00 (resident of Lower Windsor Twp.)
$70.00 (non-resident fee)
SMALL PAVILION-$25.00 (resident of Lower Windsor Twp.)
$45 (non-resident fee)
BASEBALL FIELD-$20 (resident of Lower Windsor Twp.)
$30 (non-resident fee)
1.) Picnic tables under the pavilion are to remain
there-DO NOT move to other pavilions etc.
2.) Persons reserving the pavilion are responsible for the clean-up of
the pavilion area and charcoal pits.
3.) Persons reserving the pavilion are responsible for damage that
occurs during the time the pavilion is in use by their group.
4.) NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR DRUGS ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES!
5.) All normal Rexroth Park Rules apply. The following are prohibited:
- No damaging, destroying, or marking equipment on
- No littering.
- No bicycles, motorized vehicles or skateboards
- No profane or obscene language.
- No horses.
6.) Dogs are permitted, but must be kept on a leash at
all times. The owner/handler shall remove any and all fecal matter
deposited by said pet while within the township park facility.
7.) Lower Windsor Township rents the pavilions to residents and
non-residents for non-commercial purposes. Persons wishing to rent the
pavilions for commercial purposes (3rd party) shall supply the township
with proof of commercial liability insurance coverage, which insurance
coverage names Lower Windsor Township as an additional insured

Municipal Solid Waste/Garbage Disposal
Lower Windsor Township does not require residents or
commercial enterprises to use any specific solid waste disposal company.
All residents or commercial enterprises are responsible to contract
their own solid waste disposal.
Large item clean up is held in April and in October each year at the
Modern Landfill 4400 Mt. Pisgah Road. Please check the spring and fall
newsletters for the dates, times and coupons for dropping these items
off as well as for a list of items that will not be accepted.
BRUSH DROP OFF
Residents of Lower Windsor Township along with the
boroughs of East Prospect and Yorkana may bring brush, small branches
and Christmas trees to the drop-off site located to the rear of the
Lower Windsor Township Maintenance Building, 111 Walnut Valley Ct.,
Wrightsville, PA 17368. Brush drop-off hours are the 2nd Saturday of
each month from 7-10 am ONLY. The Highway Dept. will be available to

The brush is then chipped and available, free of charge, to residents of
the municipalities, on a first come first serve basis while the supply

The chipper is not available for rental purposes.
The township provides recycling bins for the following
items 24 hours a day/7 days a week. The bins are located at the Lower
Windsor Township Maintenance Building, 111 Walnut Valley Ct.,
Wrightsville, PA 17368. The items can be placed all together and do not
need to be sorted. PLEASE DO NOT PUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE FOLLOWING
ITEMS IN THE BIN (including plastic bags):
Paper, paperboard and cardboard. Includes cardboard boxes, pizza
boxes, food boxes (cereal, macaroni), paper towel & toilet paper rolls,
paperboard packaging (tissue & shoe boxes), office paper (any color),
shredded paper, newspaper & inserts, magazines & catalogs, junk mail &
envelopes, paper bags, phone books.
Plastic containers #'s 1-7 – The neck of the container must be
smaller than the base.
Glass – Clear, brown and green glass food and beverage
Metal Cans – Aluminum beverage cans, steel food and beverage
cans, aerosol cans
