LAKE CLARKE RESCUE

Lake Clarke Rescue is a non-profit emergency water rescue team located in Wrightsville, PA (Long Level). Our station was started in the mid 1950's and has helped several thousands boaters in different emergencies over the years. The equipment that we have is a 28' Pontoon Boat with an electric crane on board for recovery work. This boat stays in Susquehanna River (Long Level) from April to October. We have a 1968; 17' Boston Whaler for use on the river or any lake in the area. Our last boat is a 6 man inflatable used for ice rescue and shallow water rescues. On March 16, 2001 Lake Clarke Rescue will become one of the first stations in Pennsylvania to become accredited by the state and the first in York County. Lake Clarke Rescue will respond to any water rescue calls in the local area. Our rescue meetings are on the first Sunday of every month at 9am.  If you need to contact us, please call the station at 717-252-2914.
