Welcome to your community recreation!
The Eastern York Area Recreation Commission or EYARC was created out
of the great demand shown for organized recreational opportunities in your
area. Each of the participating municipalities, Lower Windsor Township,
East Prospect Borough and Yorkana Borough, as well as Eastern York School
District, appointed two representatives to our board. Board members are:
Gary Nace - Chairman, Jac Seitz - Vice Chariman, Mary Jo Moczulski -
Secretary, Juanita Smith - Treasurer, Gary Schrift, Blaine Garner, Doug
Caldwell, Darla Pianowski and Leroy Wheeland. The Board of EYARC has
adopted the following mission statement as the basis for their
programming:

Mission Statement
The Eastern York Area Recreation Commission
exists to offer a wide variety of recreational and educational opportunities
and services to the citizens of Eastern York County. Programs are designed to
promote physical, intellectual and emotional well-being of the participant
thereby contributing to quality of life.
The Commission is dedicated to bringing you programs available in Adult Sports
and Fitness, Youth and Children Programs, Education and Enrichment, Health and
Wellness, Trips and Tours, Family Opportunities and Special events.
Perhaps you have a special talent which you’d like to share, we could offer a
class. Or, make a suggestion about something you’d like to learn. Please let
us know. We are always looking for new and exciting programs!
